She is one of the first graduates of the Lumicon Institute certification program in Digital Culture Ministry, a cooperative program of Lumicon Digital Productions and Perkins Theological Seminary. She also holds an MA in Spiritual Formation and Evangelism from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (and an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University). She holds United Methodist certification as a leader in the field of spiritual formation.
Currently she serves as director of spiritual formation, Bible teacher, small group leader, and leader of the worship visuals team, Biblical storytelling team and Eucharistic Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Princeton, Illinois. She also preaches, teaches and works at Princeton's sister church, Malden U.M.C.

She is an experienced workshop and retreat leader and teacher of adults and children, and is a member of the Network of Biblical Storytellers, Spiritual Directors International and the Fellowship of United Methodist Spiritual Directors and Retreat Leaders.
