Travel expenses, including mileage at the standard Federal tax rate, lodging, and meals are the responsibility of the host organization. Under some circumstances home hospitality may be one way to meet this need. 

Fees vary according to the outline of your event, of course. In general, a fair honorarium for a presentation or workshop is $100 per hour. That can go up for special requests and, sometimes, down for small membership churches on a tight budget. 

For example, a one-day retreat (9 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m.) would be $600.
