Eucharistic Ministry
Eucharistic Ministry is the service of bringing the elements of Holy Communion to congregation members who are "unwillingly absent" from the community Table. This ministry is conducted by trained laypeople, who are also trained to serve at the Lord's Table.

When the United Methodist Church General Conference adopted This Holy Mystery as a teaching document in 2004, United Methodists, had for the first time, a set of guidelines for creating such a ministry.

The resources offered here follow these guidelines. These are suggestions only; you are free to develop your own resources following the guidelines in This Holy Mystery.
