Journey to Jerusalem does not have a single, set script. Because it's fluid, it's always
fresh year to year. The time is
Good Friday afternoon, after Jesus' crucifixion but before sunset and the beginning of the
Sabbath.
The script includes:
- a marketplace full of a
varying number of businesspeople, each telling a part of the story of Jesus from his or
her perspective,
- a series of dramatic scenes
set in different places around Jerusalem. Think of these places as "venues"
for different scenes which can vary from year to year in text, characters and even the
points made in the script.
Pick and choose the marketplace
people you want, and the scenes you want, based on the talent
and resources available in your church. Or add your own! |
