Workshops

If you would like your congregation to develop a Biblical storytelling ministry, Beth will lead a workshop.

In a typical three-hour workshop participants experience storytelling, learn how to learn the Story, and develop confidence by working with others to Tell a short Biblical story.

Longer workshops, of course, will give participants more practice, more techniques and more confidence.

If an onsite workshop is not possible, Beth also teaches the art of Biblical storytelling online at Be A Disciple, the website of the Richard and Julia Wilke Institute for Discipleship.

"Really good teachers, when they connect with their students as you did, the session continues to stay on the mind and heart like the rings of water in a pool, getting larger then smaller and deepening. I keep thinking of the importance of the experience. A good lesson satisfies the hunger and reminds the student how much the lesson was needed."

"Thanks to you for ALL you brought to the conference. You've inspired me to be a storyteller!"
-- Chicago area, November 2007

"The audience laughed at all the right times, and I remembered my lines. It went so well, that when I was finished, the audience gave me applause. And two weeks later people are still talking about  it, and coming up to me and telling me that I am a natural, and that I really get into my character. I can't say enough about the help that you and [another student]  have given me. Without the two of you,
I would not be doing this."
